One participant in the World Series of Poker Main Event went a step further by wearing a low visor that shielded his eyes from view, in addition to a mask that covered the remainder of his face. Poker pro Alex Duvall took to X to question if wearing so much obstruction was actually legal:

After speculating whether or not there’s a rule about wearing such extensive coverings, Duvall posted an updated video showing a rules official asking the player to remove at least one of the items:

The drama wasn’t over, with the player deciding to put the visor back on and return to playing. It’s unclear what the consequences would be for doing so, with some X users speculating that he might suffer a one-round penalty if officials had to step in again.
